My recovery CD that I made using the recovery manager won't work. Even the back up copies that I've made doesn't work.

    It says:
"The system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this system with the media."

Any way to fix this? I need help.

Yeah... I was afraid that was going to happen... Decided to use a friend's image backup of a Minimized Image Recovery using Macrium.

Decided to search on the HP support forum, guess what? Alot of people are having this problem too. It seems like HP is squeezing as much money out of the customers. They quoted me $300 dollars just to fix this POS.

    Thanks for your response.

Fix what? I am not sure what you think is broken.

Ordering those recovery disks from HP, will cost less than $30.00USD. Not a bad deal, IMO.

have you tried the reinstall from partion? to do this Press the power button to start the HP. Press and hold the F11 key to launch the HP Recovery Manager from the recovery partition. typically u dont even need recovery cd's unless you have overwritten the recovery partition
