    Hi Guys,

    I have a Pavilion DV9000 Series...

So I had burn DVD recevery, but... when I use... this following message appers "This impossible to recovery this computer with this disc"... I trie to burn another DVD, like forum learn, but the same message appers...

Now my doubt, is there something between Model/Serial Number (does not appears on Bios) with this message?

By the way, when I upgrade my bios, I lost this informations...

    Thanks,

Ouch this could be a big problem. When you updated the BIOS was your power cord plugged in, and did you do an install with disc rather than from Windows for the BIOS update.

The reason I am asking is -- are you doing the install because Windows won't boot? It sounds somewhat like you have fried your BIOS. If this is the case then you need to send it in for factory service if it is under warranty.

If not then you can always call and order new recovery disks for a nominal charge.
