Has any had trouble creating the Recovery disks on an DV9000t series? I just got the DV9230US and I can't seem to create them. I have tried both a Sony DVD-R and a Memorex DVD-R, Sony does burn the disk but when it tries to verfiy the data it stops at 30-60%. Memorex crash burning at 17%. Is there someing wrong with the DVD burner or am I useing the wrong disk?

    Thanks

I've read some documentation saying that DVD +R is preferred. Try that and see if it helps.

Hey Night thats great info, I will try to pick up soem DVD+R today. Yet I wonder if the DVD burner is also a problem if I try to burn a movie? I am going to try out the MS Movie Maker that came with it and I have a copy of nero. See if the burner works with these apps and with both DVD formats.

    I don't belive the burner supports DVD-R only DVD+R
