This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Recovery partition question

    I've already created my recovery discs. I know I can delete the recovery partition but with a 160gb hard drive the little space it takes up is not a problem. I'm assuming recovery from a problem will be easier if it is left on the hard drive. There is one thing that bugs the hell out of me though. I keep getting a pop-up at the lower right that says space on that partition is running low even though it has 3 gb clear. Is there any way to make that pop up go away and leave the partition on the drive? Or should I just go ahead and delete the whole mess and get it over with?
