    I burned recovery disks for my dv5t, now i reordered one and i'm going to return this one because i wanted a different configuration. I'm wondering, will the recovery disk from my current one work for the new dv5t?

    Probably but do you want to take a chance for the cost of a Blank CD, a couple DVD's and maybe 1 - 1.5 Hrs of computer time?
