How do you replace the recycle bin on the desktop with out it being a shortcut? I clicked something by accident and it disappeared!

I know this may be such a noob question but everyone has their days..
I have vistas if that helps.

    Thanks

right click desktop, then personalize, then change desktop icons at the left. And then enable recycle bin.

    Hope this helps!
