    Greetings

My laptop is hp envy dv7205tx
    I m currently running windows 8 64bit
But I prefer running windows 7 cause I m more used to that

I just bought this laptop and I can't boot into bios like the old laptops I had.
So how can I format my laptop from windows 8 to windows 7?

    Thank you.:hi2:

    Hey,
Load up windows 8 and go into the desktop, then while the computer is STILL ON pull the battery out and then put it back in. Then press the power button and FURIOUSLY press ESC you should get the BIOS menu. If that doesn't work, there is a menu in Windows 8 that's called "Advanced shutdown" or something like that and it gives you options to boot from disc, ect.
    Hope this helped :)
