The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Do you think that HP will be refreshing part of its notebook line soon? They refreshed the entire desktop line 2 days ago under the pretext of "Back to School" (some kids just got out of school last week). Do you think they'll do the same for notebooks?

    I don't think they'll be updating this quickly (don't quote me on this). The desktop line is a lot easier to change out the parts compared to a notebook. I'd probably guess more like late fall to winter area.
