    what is the warranty coverage?

    Refurbished has a 12-month warranty.Not sure of the other one. I wouldve thought 2 maybe 3 years as it would be new.

    unless UK law requires a longer warranty, new HP lappies generally come with a 1 year warranty.

    for a price diff of 130, the refurb appears to be the way to go.

    my wife bought a refurb Envy 15 from Timur at colorado computer on ebay and it has been an excellent buy so far (she's had it about a month now).

    it depends on what you do with the laptop as you said before in my opinion refurbished laptops are ok for you because your not going to do hardcore stuff.
