    Hi,

I don't know what happened to me when I ordered my dv5t but I totaly confused.

I am using the laptop mainly for photo editing (Photoshop etc) and programming.
For some reason, don't know why, I added 200$ for the 512MB NVIDIA and didn't upgrade the CPU or HD (Photoshop doesn't use the graphics card at all - I am not doing 3D).

Now that I got it I wish I could get a bigger HD than the 250GB and a faster CPU...

I am still in the "grace period" and can return it but then I will have to wait 2-3 weeks.

What other options do I have?

    Thanks,

    yuval.

Be glad you're still in the return policy. Better act fast before you can't act at all.

I was in your shoes (kind of). I regretted not going for the 9600m GT so I went ahead and returned it. I purchased the same laptop but this time with the upgraded graphics and I got it for $150 less! =) Maybe you could do the same, there's a $200 coupon floating around.
