The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    How come they banned JWnFL? I read all of his most recent posts and there was nothing too bad. Already miss that guy :(.

    Who is this Chaz person and why would he ban JWnFL? JWnFL is a true asset to our community- it seems like no one else know's what they're talking about (including me!)

    I probably risk getting banned myself but what's the difference now that the IQ of these forums has dropped from 160 to 120.

    JwnFL was temporarily banned for continued forum rules violation(you only see the posts that have not been deleted).

    Chaz is the lead moderator and has been a valuable member of this forum since 2005.

    JwnFL is more than welcome to discuss his future on this forum with the moderator who banned him when his ban expires.

    Also, as this is a private matter between JwnFL and the administration, thread closed.
