    Remote Controler Button not working... :D

    Hey Everybody!!!
    here's my brefing :p
    After having installed a fresh copy of windows vista premium on my old vista-hp branded os... everything is working absolutely fine!! except..... (as usual :D)

    The remote controle that came with my dv6565 model is working fine, except for three buttons, the MEDIA CENTER, Quickyplay and dvd button don't work. I've run out of ideas except pressing them, lolll

    Does anybody know the solution to this problem, anyhelp with be most appreciated!!!! Thanks Everybody! (oh, and i have quickplay 3.2 from hp updates....)

    those 3 buttons are controlled by the Quick Launch button drivers.. Make sure u dont disable QLB.exe on startup or else they wont work

    That'd be pretty stupid of my part, yeah... im running on Qp 3.2 and im downloading version 3.6....
    Maby it will fix me little issue, croosing fingers! :X

    where could i get quickplay 3.6 cause the total care advisor update one is not working. it said i need version is %s. i want to get rid of the the red !

    i donthave the qlb drivers in the sw setup folder.... could some1 up load them?
    u can get 3.6 in the qp software, update section :)

    oh and the dvd button does work, but not the qp/media buttons...

    check ur task manager to see if QLB.exe is on the list first.. if you dont have it you can get it off the hp website

    You need to have both quickplay and the quickplay drivers installed. They are 2 different installations that you have to do. Assuming you followed my guide, the software is in the SWsetup folder that you saved before you did the install. You did save that, right?

    yeah, i saved the whole folder on a 4gb ubs stick, but i lost it!!!! (a big omg!!!)
    Can anybody upload the drivers, i guess anybody with an dv6000 model must have the same drivers :D....
    I only have the "QpService.exe" running.... could anybody please upload their drivers threw rapidshare.com or something!!! ?

    both services are working.... but the buttons aren't working:S

    even the QuickPlay button on the laptop isn't working, but the DVD does....

    hmm.. what could be the problem..?

    ugh havin problems too here..

    my Mute light wont turn orange anymore after reinstalling the RealTek Audio driver

    Quickplay button on the touchkeys doesn't work nor does it on the Remote. But the Dvd touchkey works..

    wish their was a guide what to do ..

    The quickplay buttons need both the quickplay software (qpw) and the quickplay buttons (qlb). If you installed BOTH and it's still not working, uninstall both, reboot, then reinstall, and reboot. Same procedure for the mute button, which requires the realtek audio driver. If that doesn't work, then something else is corrupted :(

    ive heard that it works best to install the quickplay drivers/software after you install the realtek audio driver

    I appreciate all the help you guys have giving me, but i'm still having problems with it. Every since i Fresh installed it, its not properly woking anymore.
    I've tried every combination possible :D
    Anyway, if anybody knows anything else... please do tell!!! :D :D
