    How do you remove the CD-Rom drive in the Pavilion dv1000? What screws do I need to take out?

    Check the service manual found on HP's site. It should explain how to dismantle your notebook.

    Is there any way to install additional battery in CD-ROM bay?

    I know thinkpad can do this. Will HP do the same thing?
