I have a zv6000(three years old and still working great) and have a stuck Sony media card. Can't get it out. The blue light is illuminated and now the PC won't read other outside drives! UGH!

This is killing me. Any ideas as to how to get the thing out? It is really deep. I thought that the card would "pop-out" if pushed farther in...

    Please help me.

Yes, the best thing is tweezers. If you have a swiss army knife laying around there are usually tweezers in there the same thing happened to me i got it out in a few seconds.

I have. It went even deeper. UGH!

Does anyone know where I can order some tools that are really thin and would be of the type one would use for small part removal or tooth cleaning(need something with a slight hook at the end-two actually as I need to catch the card at the farthest point from the opening). This is killing me. My lappy was mint prior to this happening.

Thank you for any ideas as to where I can order some precise tools.

What kind of tweezers did you use? Mine are so tiny that you cannot push the card further. It fits between the card and card reader....Not good if you pushed it...Try your mom's eyebrow thingies. Or something like that...

I recently used tweezers for my mother's card reader, when she shoved one of the million Sony MS Duo/Pro/XXX/ into a non-compatible slot. If it's truly jammed in there too far to get tweezer tips around it, I'd suggest a super-glue trick. Basically, computer off/unplugged/pull out battery, take a very skinny-tipped screwdriver or similar tool and scratch a tiny divot into the edge of the card, and then apply superglue to the tip and insert into the divot and let it dry and cure. Then, pull out and hopefully the card will come with.
