    Hi all,

The title says what I want... anyone have any idea how to remove Beat Software, its kinda annoying to be honest, for some reasons, skype calls comes from the headphones, other than that, everything comes from speakers. even when I'm not using skype, music still comes from speakers, I checked Beat settings it checked playback device to speakers and I can't change that...

tl;dr I hate Beat, I don't care about it, and I want to remove it.

    Thank you

that's not a beats software issue.

that's a "IDT drivers are weird, go fix it by messing with skype settings and telling it specifically what audio output to use" issue.

start up skype. go to tools --> options ---> audio settings.

under speakers pick speakers and headphones. under ringing pick speakers and headphones.

microphone pick integrated microphone array if you're using the webcam microphone, headset mic otherwise (I think).

Thanks for the reply, I have tried every possible setting type for that, but whenever I'm using skype on call "which I'm doing 80% of time, all other sounds comes from speakers.
Btw, I got the piece that makes headphone and microphone cable goes into into 1 plug.

It might not be from Beat, but I really don't need it nor I will be need it anytime soon.

I wana test if installing that would fix this issue, because I noticed IDT driver installs Beat system, but I can't remove beat system no matter what.

The audio subsystem is capable of outputting 2 sources. This is neither a bug with the driver or actual chipset. You can mute each of the output channels. You can also force Skype to use only 1 of the channels.

heres the fix! Right click on on the volume panel in the task bar > select playback devices, Then just disable the independent headphone jack..... the head phone jack will still work when you plug something into it when you do this bdw... and boom gets rid of the skype issue
