    Removing the Bottom Panel of the DV6

    I tried to remove it (read online that it's screwless), but before I read that it wasn't and that you needed to remove the Footpads to get to it. What's the verdict, how foreful should I have to be?

    The whole bottom? Or the actual panel on the bottom?

    Take out the battery and push the switch in the other direction and remove it from there (you might need to use a little bit of force to get it on/off). No need to remove anything else.

    Not too bad. I was actually trying it with battery in. Obviously, you had to remove it but I didn't see that then...

    After removing mine so many times it now no longer snaps in properly like of used to. There is some flex when you push on it so be careful.
