I got a HP 4910US brand new last friday,I tried running the Repair part of the Restore disk 9 times, when I press the R key to activate the repair, window keeps asking me for a password.
I checked in the Administrator and the other area to the left of the Administrator icon, and made sure there are no passwords on either side, but window still asks for password.
Can someone help me solve this problem?
This is a Laptop.[}]

Are you sure it was brand new and never used or opened? There should be no passwords enabled unless they are clearly marked in the documentation. What is wrong with the notebook that requiers you to use the restore function?
I would just return it to where you bought it and ask for another as it really sounds like someone has used this notebook before you and they set the security features to prevent anyone from getting into it.

My hotmail little green head shows enabled, but my hotmail e-mail page wont come up for last 6 days since I got this Computor.
I can only get my E-email by going to Hotmails Website or through Outlook Express.
Now today I cant access my Hotmail at all, there window comes up, and says they are temporaraly out of commission.
I got a hold of the Best Buy Tech today and she walked me through the Repair part of the restore disk, there is a Password that is actually a Phrase not just one word, very complicated,so Restore disk works, but didnt solve problem.
