asked lately for replacing my current TL-52 CPU, but C2D is now on top..
    Check Signature for current specs.
so i was wondering if its possible to replace my current mobo with Intel mobo + Intel CPU..(9xxx series)

This on fits Dv6xxx and V6xxxx Series:

Are these compatible with C2D 9xxx Series (prefer 9500 or 9300)
I can get parts only on ebay, so if you have suggestion ..?

    Thanks anyway!

    why?

I'll cost more than buy a new notebook.

    Aside warranty issues...

These MB's are based on the i945 series chipset(Napa Platform) which means it can only support first gen Merom or Yonah CPU's(Socket M). The newer cpu's like the T7300(Socket P) or the new Penryn cpu's will not be compatible.
