Is there a way to replace worn keys. I can see my spacebar is starting to have some wear on it.

You need a new keyboard set then, unlike desktop keyboards, notebook keyboards have 'X' shaped clips and once removed/broken, it is very difficult to put back.

Replacement keyboards are cheap on e-bay:

There was a guy I used to work with who was really good at prying off keys and replacing them individually - but I wouldn't recommend it. Just get another keyboard.

I don't know about the Pavilions, but at least on my nw8440, I can pry off a key and it will usually snap back on, no problem. Only time a key "broke" when I pried it off was the left control key, and I fixed it by carefully pushing the keycap's clips back together. Now it doesn't fly off anymore.
The only reason I pry off a key is when a hard speck of dirt gets caught under a key.
But since I'm not familiar with pavilion keyboards, and since you run a VERY high risk of damaging the keyboard anyway, I'd just order a new keyboard part. Besides, unless your space bar is failing to register 100% of the time, the wear is purely cosmetic, so, unless you're really bothered by the wear, I'd just say leave it be.
