I am looking to get a bigger (160GB+) HD for my notebook computer. Would any of you have recommendations?

Quiet is the most important thing, followed by low battery consumption, low heat. Speed is a distant 4th on my scale of needs.

    Thanks!

You might want to look at this for more info on hdd.

I assume you have got a 5400rpm hdd at the moment? If so i'd say stick with a 5400rpm, 4200 is just too slow, and 7200 would be abit loud and lowers you battery life.

Yes, I guess I should have specified 5400 RPM. I think I'll probably go with either the Seagate Momentus 5400.4 (which I'll have to wait for), the WDC Scorpio (which is currently available but has some negative reviews on NewEgg) or the Toshiba (which has great reviews but only has a 1 year warranty).
