I remember reading a forum with someone who had access to the HP notebook status check...

Well I just got my replacement ordered about 2 days ago...and would definately like to check...but the case manager said only they had access to site...does anyone remember who had access? I would just like to ask them for the status of my notebook, maybe even provide me access to the CSO status checker? Please PM me if you could.

    Thank you.

You can't track it. It's an internal tracking system that someone mistakenly obtained. It takes about 2 days after the initial placement by the case manager for it to be approved for order. From there is takes about 7-14 days to be shipped to your house.

Thanks...it was approved Thursday morning. So I'm hoping I'll get it next week. I just wanted a tracking # that's all...that way I know when someone has to be home to sign off the notebook.

If you want to know call your case manager. We can give you the tracking number once it becomes available.

Thanks Some Dude...I'm guessing you're a case manager...since you said "we".

Anyway, I'll give them a call on Monday before going to school...I've been without a working laptop for way more than a month...since mid-July.

If it was approved Thursday morning...do you think I'll have the notebook deliver by this coming week? I got the packing slip on Friday...

Here is the link that you are looking for.. They gave it to me when I sent my laptop in for repair. The only problem is that HP doesn't update the status in a Daily basis.

Thanks f15hp, but that's not the site. That's only useful if you sent the notebook in for repair or buying parts...

    I already have the website...
    https://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/order_status_sign_in.do

But it needs the number, which is not under mine...unfortunately the number is internal...so I might just call on Monday to find out the status...

It was approved on Thursday...so I'm hoping they were building it over the weekend and I hope it ships this week...

i would like to know this too, i have the link that f15hp gave and my notebook arrived at HP yesterday, and was wondering is there a way to check the status (like if they even looked at it yet and so on) or should i just do a live chat?
because i sent my notebook in due to a motherboard failure last friday.
