    Replacing ENVY 14-2054SE Beats Top Cover

    Hi all
    My envy 14 has 2 heavy scratches on top cover and I am trying to sell it on ebay. The laptop is in perfect condition otherwise but I feel that the cosmetic defect on the top cover is going to devalue the item greatly.
    Is there a way for me to order the parts from HP and replace it myself? I check HP manual and it didn't show you how to replace the top cover? Would I need to take apart the whole laptop just to replace that part?
    Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give.

    You can order the top cover from HP's parts website. You will have to disassemble the laptop to replace the top cover. You'll need to find the service manual to replace the laptop, not the standard manual. It is likely on this forum somewhere, given that you have an older model.
