    Replacing touchpad with a better one (pavilion dv7 4160 eg)?

    I got a pretty good deal for hp pavilion dv 7 4160 eg an am actually impressed , what I got for the price, but my big problem is the touchpad.

    I have several laptops from several manafactures and it was never as horrible as this one, being just a big plate , with pseudo buttons , that are just as sensitive as the moving area above these.

    And it is jumping around all the time. ALL THE TIME.

    I tried several settings, but I just have to ask if another touchpad from the 4000 ( or even 5000) series is compatible with this motherboard. There seem to be proper touchpads, with actual buttons a la asus.

    Hell even the one button ones from the easynote ls are pure luxury compared to to this @*ยง$%.
