    Though, a poster can find out the pertinent info by simply going into device manger/monitors then right click the display, click the details tab and select hardware IDs under the properties drop down box.

    This way they don't have to install a program.

    Thanks! I thought the Hardware ID only contains this: LCD0E09.

    I may be wrong. I am surprised this is the first request for this information.

    the radiance in the part store comes with the entire top lid, so it's relatively easy to change it with the brightview

    I did a chat with HP Parts and they verified it was the HD+ 1600x900 screen. It would be pretty awesome to order the Radiance screen and throw it into the black & red Beats Edition Envy 14. Not too many people will have THAT setup! I'm tempted, but I think I'll see how the regular Envy 14 I ordered looks before considering this :)

    That is the cost WITHOUT TAX AND SHIPPING...so yes, it's definitely NOT worth the price.

    you can just buy a refurb and swap the screens then sell it for $200 less on ebay.
