How high resolutions are the 6710b and 6715b machines capable of when using DVI on the docking station? I'm thinking about getting one of those for work, but I want to connect it to a 24 inch 1920x1200 monitor. The QuickSpecs document for them say that they can handle 2048x1536 on an external monitor, but that is only when using VGA, right? I have seen many other laptops that only give you 1600x1200 when using DVI, or even no DVI support at all, but I haven't been able to locate that information for the HP 6710b and 6715b.

I know that the HP 8510p should handle up to 2560x1600, but it is at the very limit of my budget, and I might need to shrimp on the external monitor to get that.
