    Hi,

I clean installed Windows 7 Beta on my dv5t, but now want to revert back to as it was when shipped from the factory. I tried to use F11 to do System Recovery but totally forgot that the Windows 7 install would screw up the Master Boot Record (MBR). So F11 does not work now. And, I admit I did not make recovery disk CDs before installing Windows 7.

But there has to be a way to get the MBR back to normal, right? I know there are programs out there to help me; I just don't know which one to use. Plus, I have the option in the dv5t bios to boot from USB if I need to, I think.

I do have PartitionMagic 8.0; not sure if that will help.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
