According to the website, it's 21 days after laptop delivery. Is this the date it was shipped from Shanghai or arrived to my home?

What the procedure to do the return/exchange? Call HP (sells department or techsupport department or customer support department) and get a return Fedex box?

The Fedex box arriving date should be prior to the 21th expiration day?

Call their sales department. The techsupport will only leave you running in circles. They are going to say that they will escalate the case to a case manager. Then have a case manager call you within 24-48 hours.

Jump through the loophole and call the sales department.

I've returned 2 laptops to them and it's actually pretty simple and they didn't give me any problems both times I did it. I don't remember exactly which number I called, but I believe if you just call in on any HP 800 number they can send you where you need to go. They will ask you why you are returning the laptop and the reason doesn't matter, they just like to know why so they can improve, and then they will give you the information you need, and they will email you the fedex details for you to print out and send the laptop back. They give you all the instructions you need and it is a very easy process.

21 days from the time it is delivered is what I was told. I just sent back a DV9500T Monday and it's already been credited back to my account.

There's an 800 # under the Customer Service section on HPShopping for returns and exchanges. I just called that. I was having DVD drive issues so they had to send me to tech support to get a service ticket # first (even though I told them I was returning this laptop and not getting it serviced). So that kind of stunk but all I did was get transferred to tech support, they took some info, gave me a service ticket # and then back to the returns and exchanges dept I went. Setup a time for FedEx to come to my house, got an Email from the FedEx manager with the label to print for my box and off it went.

Pretty easy to return. I was surprised.

Pretty straightforward. 21 days from the delivery date. If it just shipped, it has not yet been delivered, right?
