If I call and get an RMA/FedEx label, on say the 19th day out of the 21 day policy, is that OK?
I take it the package isn't required to be received by HP within 21 days, but rather shipped within 21 days. Is this correct?
Also, once the RMA is issued, do you have 5 days after that time even if it extends the 21 days? It only states: "Note: You must return the product within 5 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA."
Thanks

I believe it means you have to ship it within 5 days after receiving the RMA number or if not specified they have to receive the item within 21 days.

I just spoke with HP. Say you call on the 21st day, you then have 5 days to get it into FedEx hands. They'll scan it into their system and you're good to go.

^ yeah, i think you have to simply open the call with them within the 21 day period. they actually dont need the item in their hands within 21 days. i remember i returned my first dv7t i think 15 days into having it...

And, by the way, you can check the status of your return by viewing your return order status, at https://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/order_status_sign_in.do.
