I've been using my wireless on my r3000 and it works great, i finally hooked it up to ethernet port but then it doesn't work. I've had my R3000 for almost a month and I didnt check all my ports. The driver says the device can not start, i reformatted the hard drive and still does not work, even the LEDs don't light up. I called the HP customer service 1 in the morning.. the guy was very nice.. and issued me a replacement.. fedex is picking it up from my doorstep on monday.. you guys think i'm getting a whole new replacement or a just repairing the port?

I should of told him about the problem with the touchpad, i think it taps by itself once in a while when i type, i know that my palm doesn't touch it, does anybody else have this problem?

I had one with bad NIC port too a few months ago, they will give you a new one.
Maybe your touchpad is too sensitive, even with fingers hovering around could let it sense the movement.
