I ordered an envy 14 from the U.S a while back (to save on the exchange rate) which was delivered to the UK through BundleBox. I've had it for approximately 3 months now and it has developed several faults over time. Firstly and most importantly it is prone to crashing if even slightly bumped. As well as this, disks occasionally get lodged in the drive and can only be removed after multiple eject attempts it will protrude far enough for me to grab it. Thirdly, various small graphical complaints such as occasionally refusing to switch back to integrated graphics unless restarted. I use this laptop everyday for school so cannot send it off without HP sending a replacement model first. Advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

That's exactly what I want to do but I need to have a laptop for everyday work. I also think it might be worth waiting till the refresh and getting it replaced with one of those. Besides that I don't know how to go about moving the warranty to the UK which I would presumably need to do.

If you go to the HP web page there's a section where you can check your warranty details and with luck, you might have a warranty that is covered in the UK. i imported a 2740p and it was warrantied until 2013 with worldwide cover so i was lucky.

An alternative method is this: See if you can buy a full extended warranty from HP (I went for a 5 year FULL accidental) and the next day, they repaired the screen. Worth it but the 5 year does cost. just another option for you
