As title suggests, I want to know if I do a minimal install without all the bloat ware can I in the future revert back to the full install if I want to?
What are the program's left out on a minimal install?...I know I want to keep my photoshop stuff etc...
Thx minty.

Same options with the recovery discs as well...
Before doing this...make sure to backup your swsetup directory and if you have the 3D Envy...make sure to back up your Program Files (X86)\TriDef directory. Only full recovery will give you those back -
Ok for now I have done a complete recovery from partition....I have backed up swsetup to my back up drive,so that when I get my ssd and clean install I will have my drivers. My question is how will I go about installing each driver from this drive? As most I cannot tell what they do?
Sorry if this is a silly question...
Thx minty -
Intel Chipset drivers
Intel Management Engine
Intel Rapid Storage Technology
Intel WiFi drivers
Intel Wireless Display
AMD Switchable Grapics Drivers (HP build also contains Intel graphics)
Beats Audio Drivers (IDT)
USB 3.0 drivers
Gigabit LAN drivers
Bluetooth Drivers
Touchpad Drivers
HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor
That will pretty much sum up the hardware installs. Each folder should have a readme file that will tell you what you need. You also have a driver page for your particular model, where the most up to date drivers should be...just in case. I even recommend that you install the drivers in the order I gave you...this way the OS works properly.
The HP software I would install...
HP Support Assistant
HP Software Framework (contains Coolsense)
HP On Screen Display Utility
UEFI
That should cover that, unless you like the HP connection manager...then add that in, too. I find it very useless, since Intel connection manager or even Windows does a better job
Reverting back from minimal install?
