    What do you want to know? It depends on what your needs are and how you will be using it to tell if it's good for the purpose intended.
    For me it does not fit my needs very well. I would want a newer video controller, the 9000 radeon is getting kind of old; but then it depends on your needs. I also need long battery life, so a notebook with a Pentium 4 would be out of the question since battery life even with a 12 cell battery would only be 3 hours at most and probably only 2.5. So what I'm saying is that it really depends on what the use will be.

    7.9lbs would be too much for me. I carried around a 6lbs laptop in europe last year for a few months.... big mistake. I'm all about slim/light now.

    yes i three agree.. i just bought a R3000z.. and it's very very heavy... i don't know why i bouhgt it.. maybe it was a good price.. i'm a student..it s**ks carrying to class..
