    Hey everyone,

This has made my life a lot better with both my DV6 3143, and now my Envy 17. HP seems "bent" on putting a power port on the right side that shoots straight out where I like to have my mouse hand. Drives me nuts, but at least the solution is cheap.

Hope this helps some others with frustration.

Edit - note that the stock power pin slips easily out of this adapter which could be bothersome. I have kids that like to yank on my power cord every now and then though, and it has saved my laptop from taking a dive many times.
