When I tap on the right side of my dv6000t, there is a little tinny (note tiny) rattle. Is this normal for this computer? I have tomorrow to decide whether to exchange it or not, and I'm trying to figure out what is normal and what is not. I'm 45 miles away from a CompUSA so I cannot "run around the corner" to check out others.

    Thanks.

I dont think there should be any rattle, no matter how tiny it is. I suggest getting it replaced.

You're tapping the CD drive thats on the right side. When I first pop in a CD that needs to boot, i feel rattling on my CD drive when it first boots. It then stops while running. But if you tap it, you're kinda interfering the spinning of the CD in the drive and you get a rattle.

If you tap almost barely or if there is no CD, then I have no idea.

Or maybe it's just the keys "rattling"? I noticed that when I barely rest one hand over the keys on the right side, I don't hear what I heard?
