Hi everybody. I haven't been on this forum for a while, but I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm running Windows XP 64 bit on my zv5000z, and almost everything works. ( Downloaded from MSDN) I got the nvidia video driver to install by choosing a Geforce 440 MX, and forcing it. For audio, I read somewhere that the nforce driver works (even though I believe the card is SoundMAX), so I tried it, and indeed it does work.
My biggest concern, wireless (broadcom), was unfounded. Although I never got it to work under the betas, it was auto detected by the Retail OS, and works perfectly. 'Base system device', 'Bluetooth by HP', and the modem are the only things not working, because I don't know where to get drivers for those. I would appreciate any info anyone has on those (especially bluetooth). I have no idea what the 'base system device' does.
Well, on to installing all my software again. Hopefully all goes well.
