    S - video not functional

    I have tried to connect by compaq laptop 3611au to TV with the necessary S- video out let chord, unable to view in the TV monitor. I have tried to detect the multiple display option from control panel, TV monitor is undetectable.
    Required correct procedure to enable S- Video

    You did the fn+something combo to switch displays right?

    I'm not familiar with your model, but on my dv6000, connect the cable, then right click on desktop and select "output to" then select either TV or TV and monitor.
