My S/N and P/N has been gone after a BIOS update (done by a guy in HP Service Center). When I realize it, my warranty is gone. How can I write it back?

Mine is a DV1301AP, and now the BIOS doesn't show in drivers section of HP official site. Weird!

Return unit to service center. They would be the ONLY ones legally that would be able to do it... (and/or have the equipment/software to do it)
