Whenever I connect my laptop to my TV, it all comes on just fine color TV screen fully loaded all proper

Then i begin to watch a DVD and my laptop freezes and it starts to get really HOT.

The only way is to hold down the power button and shut it off.
    Why does this happen?
Usually on normal word work its at 35-37 degrees celcius (the hard drive) and it goes to about 42-45 during the TV

The area that gets hot is the area below my fans

Whats up with this? ANY help would be nice[8D]

    thanks

What happens when you watch DVD's on the notebook and not have it outputting to the TV, does it still get hot and freeze? If the problem doesn't happen when not watching it through the TV, then it could be something on the systemboard that's overloading/heating. The TV out portion uses addition connectors/chips and anyone of these could be the cause.
