    Well..
As you can guess by the title. It wont work.
Erm.. I've pressed FN and F4.. but when I'm ont eh right channel on teh TV i can only hear a beep noise everytime i press it. And i read in the manual about using S Video.. but that was directions for XP and an internal graphics card.. I have a 8400m gs so it's different. And.. I searched for exturnal displays.. still no luck.
It does however work when I connect it to a HDMI tv.. but the tv i want to connect is oldish. So yeah..
    Thanks.

Do you have any other TVs available you could test it on? That way you could make certain that the problem is not with the TV.

I know that to use the S-Video you have to go inside of the video card properties and set your card to use the S-Video port. All the video cards that I've come into contact with don't send out video signals through the S-Video port unless you set it to. Since you are using XP follow these steps:

-Right Click on the desktop and go to properties (or Nvidia properties will show when you right click on the desktop).

-Once you are in properties go to Settings and then Advanced.

-Search around in here and the option should be there for your Video card to connect to the TV via the S-Video port.

Of course I haven't done this on the new video cards so the new ones could be setup by default to automatically connect to a TV when connected, if that is the case then I would say you have a software or hardware problem. If that is the case I would recommend uninstalling the Video card drivers and software and reinstalling them.

I tried doing it just using the F10 key, but that sure doesn't work. The F10 might be for the external monitor. I'd like this to work, as well.

The most important thing I did was get the latest and greated nvidia drivers installed. The TV was found at boot or through the nvidia utility in the control panel.
