Does anyone know how to enable the s-video output on the dv6000t? I am trying to hook it up to my TV and use it as a dvd player through quickplay.

There's no need to enable it, it is always on. Yet, I'm not sure if it works with quickplay, haven't heard of it used this way.
Try it first in Windows to see how it works.

So you now know how it works (Fn key + F4 to switch between displays). Are you switching to the right channel on the TV? For example my LG (not digitial) has four modes - TV, AV1, AV2, and AV3. When I connect it to the laptop via S-video, AV3 turns to S-Video.

You can see if the two are communicating from Display Properties on the laptop, Settings/ Advanced. On the monitor tab, if I remember correctly, you should see if the laptop detects the TV.

I figured it out. There was a bunch of settings I had to change on the TV. Someone lost the manual so I had to use trial and error but it finally works.
