Hi everyone...
Just bought Compaq CQ40-115AU with bios F.03. Currently i'm trying to install XP by using slipstreaming method using nLite & added SATA driver. But it seems that when trying to install always get error message "the file ahcix64.sys is corrupted".
Any advice for this case ?

Are you installing XP 64-Bit ??
-
I'm using XP 32-Bit, but each time installing XP, always request for ahcix64.sys. Alredy download from HP but says "file corrupted". Any advice ?

No idea why its looking for the 64bit driver. But try slipstreaming this driver instead of the gigabyte version. This is newer & hopefully shouldnt result in the corruption.

can anyone help me to share drivers for XP. specially sound and webcam driver -
where can i get the iastor.cat file?

This error "the file ahcix64.sys is corrupted" may related to a mix drivers between sata 32bit and 64bit.
Please choose only x86 if you were using XP-32bit and choose only x64 if you were using XP-64bit. do NOT select both drivers.
Start from the beginning, your XP resource has been contaminated with 64bit driver.
1. Copy a fresh XP cd installer to your harddisk
2. Run Nlite and slipstream the amd sata (choose only x86 driver)
3. Burn your XP to CD
