Any comments?
I've seen in the SE owner's lounge that some have been able to OC the gpu, and the CPU is prolly same across diff brands/models, so the i5's will be OCable also, right?
But how's performance on this thing though, in terms of SC2 on high/ultra? Is it the same basically as E14 or 3820TG since it's a 5650?
Thanks!

The specs on my DV7 can't be that much different than those of a DV6, and I can run SC2 on medium-to-high settings at 1280x720 and at low settings at 1600x900. I'm not sure if it's an issue with ATI/AMD's drivers or something weird with how the game renders things, but some maps really slow down the fps of the game. Setting the shaders to low however, fixes the problem. I've been playing 2v2s and 3v3s and have found the framerates to be totally playable at my settings. They stay at >30 for the most part and dip down only when there's tons of action going on in the screen.

Wow 20 frames per minute??? how?
You can set it on all high and get 50fps 1v1,2v2;
3v3 4v4 30 fps @ native res - 8 of the dv6t se
The higher memory helps when using much higher resolution. -
So if I set it to all high, and plug into an external monitor which is 1600x900, what do you think FPS will be? -
Well I got 35-40 fps high @ 1080 on 2v2, never bother testing higher.

Correct me if I am wrong, but when you overclock your GPU, you're also voiding your warranty.
Some might not care about the warranty, but it could be important down the road. You'll end up with a dead laptop and a disgust for HP. -

or that...

I forgot to mention... mine still stock clock since I do care for the warranty
SC2 Gaming no dv6t (regular and SE)
