This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     SID Problems! Please Help!

    I have accidentally changed my HP's SID number with a SID generator and i found all my files with my user account become inaccessable.A new user account has been created with a guest privilege so i cant login to my previous account or modify anything on the current one.I tried reinstalling Vista but it doesnt give any option to install the OS when i give command from the BIOS.I even tried re-generating the old SID but it couldnt change it.How can i get the adminship back and login to my previous account?i want to reinstall Vista.Please help me!
