    Hello,

I have seen other posts which show some people successfully installing an SSD on HP dv9000/9010ca line of notebooks.

Despite updating the BIOS to F43, I have not yet been successful using a SATA III SSD drive.

Does anyone know if attempting to install a SATA II SSD would be any different?

The BIOS for the laptop does not offer the ability to choose any kind of mode.

What issues have you been having when trying to use the SSD drive?
