    SSD and HDD caddy - effect on battery life running both?

    I was thinking of installing my OS on an SSD and getting a caddy for the optical drive to put in my current HDD. Does anyone know what kind of impact on battery life this will have running 1 SSD and HDD at the same time?

    I have not noticed any huge changes in battery life.
