    anyone install ssd in dv7 laptop? how to install Vista on ssd? same as on hdd? what stuff You keep it on ssd and what on second hdd?

    I have not put in an Intel yet... beucase they are out of stock.. 3 months.. maybe 4 months now of reading watching and chatting to get to this point.. I didnt just wake up and go GREAT! IDEA!..

    I am chicken blooded.. with regard to new tech.. the Intel is as close to plug and play as you will find.. considering you have 1 HDD (there are 2 in my HDX) you may want to consider the Samsung 256GB.. the user here in NBR named Lancorp... has owned his a while now and reports good things..

    Thats the best I have for now.. I will be posting a do's (short) and Don'ts (LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!) when I install mine.. clean Vista install as well as all applications.. no imaging or migrating..

    Should be funny for you to read and painful for me to do.. but I will learn during the process..
