I bought a Kinston SNV425 64GB hard disk for my tablet pc TC4400.
They said that the seq Read 210MB/s and seq Write 110MB/s both are about the hard disk.

And I take a seq Read/Write test on my PC , the result is no good.

I think it maybe a cap limitation in Bios.

From “ICH7 Family Datasheet” I find something interesting. They said ICH7M have four hard disk ports, port 0 and port 2 doesn’t support 3 Gb/s, port 1 and port 3 does support it.

But also there are CAP.ISS functions which are able to restrict the hard disk speed unreasonably.

Two questions here, how can I confirm which port my hard disk connected to? And how can I uncap the “Speed Allowed”?

You can't do anything about it because 3Gbps (SATA II) is only supported on ICH7 Desktop chipset. Not ICH7M, mobile. See table 5-43 above.
