I was wondering if someone tested the latest nvidia laptopvideo2g drivers for the DV5t ( 9600 GT)?

Which version behaves the best and what kind of issues you found?

I do not want to test every single latest version, in order to find out if my system does not crash or become unstable.

    thx

How do you load them? I tried a new one from nvidia and it wouldn't install.

I have the latest HP nvidia video drivers and my avg temp is 45 C and if I play ETQW it can go up to 75 C so as far as I can tell those numbers are okay. what about your temps?

@ what resolution you ran the 3mark test?

If I remember well Chaz notebook riches 3910 with 1280x1024 resolution
What was your original mark with the HP nvidia drivers?
Do you have any idle, response time, issues, etc with this driver?

    thx

Im not sure about that score. My setup with that driver at 1280 x 1024 = 3987 3DMarks. How is there almost 500 points of difference?

177.92 was the fastest driver I tested. 4020 3DMarks. But to lose blu-ray playability for that little addition is not worth it. No to mention HPs' driver allows vista to load much faster on start-up.

Just use the HP released driver. They are stable. Stop complaining about an unsupported driver.

My idle temps are around 45-50 and while gaming go upto 83. With furmark they maxed out at 93 (wouldn't go down until I stopped it).
