The IDT Audio Driver STACSV64.exe uses 50% of the CPU on my dv5t. It happens about every 10th time I boot the laptop and the only way to stop it is to reboot. Is there a solution to this problem? My IDT driver version is 6.10.6087.0. I have Vista Home Premium 64bit.

Have you updated to the latest version from HP's site? I experience no problems with mine. Also make sure that you have the latest BIOS too.
