I have my Dv6t Select laptop plugged into the power outlet and my battery is also in the laptop fully charged.

If I were to pull the power cord out of the laptop would the battery take over instantly?

Or would the laptop turn off?

So what I am asking is it safe to pull the power cord out of my laptop while its running as long as I have a battery in it?
